We have a saying that "You can't manage what you don't know" and by installing scales and starting to monitor the food waste, (per produced portion, and served portion) you can create dashboards about the information that might be of your interest. Start to know and save money and time!

Here you have two options. Our mobile trolley with a built in scale and hardware, or a wall mounted monitor wity a wired connected scale. When the staff throws food in the bin, the weight is registered automatically. The staff needs to indicate on the screen what type of food waste that is registered and for what reason it is thrown away. This means 2 button clicks per measurement, fast and easy!

A comprehensive solution

Our solution for increased awareness for the guest is a “canteen” trolley with protective edges, a built-in scale, a computer unit, a HDMI communicator device connected to a TV, and an optional metal detector. This solution can be used in a canteen, and it will automatically measure the plate waste generated by the visitor and immediately give feedback to the visitor about the amount that is thrown away. If the optional feedbacker function is included, the “visitor/student” can easily via a touch screen, share their opinion to the premise. The unit is battery-powered, that can eliminate the need for any electrical outlet. The TV is connected via a wireless device that will secure a really simple installation.

It's all about communication!

To influence your guests, we use digital signage to communicate via a TV monitor. By using the Backoffice you can define rules for presentations and combine information about the weight of the food and the waste that is thrown into the trolley. Each individual measurement is thus registered in our Backoffice and displayed on the TV screen. For even clearer pedagogy, we have a "food waste monster" (or GIF:s of your choice) that appears on the screen and gets a stomachache when you throw away a lot of food, or is happy when you throw away less/no food waste.

Your back office

Our back office “food waste control”, contains a lot of different functionalities, such as, information about plate waste, production waste, reasons, etc, whereas communication to the staff and management is our focus. The system also delivers key performance data with information/unit among others. Our own proprietary hardware offers four basic functions, guest prevention (canteen), kitchen prevention, (staff), guest communication (feedbacker, digital signage). We call our unit “Foodifiq – AIO” (ALL IN ONE). This hardware is tailored to kitchens and gives you a complete solution for food waste prevention.
